Hello! My name is Ocean, I’m 26, and I’m from England.
I’m trans – specifically nonbinary – and I’m very passionate about reading books that represent me, and supporting authors who are trans or nonbinary. This blog is born from that passion. As a nonbinary trans person, it brings me great joy to see myself represented in books, and knowing that the representation comes from someone who truly understands is unmatched.
I believe marginalised authors, such as trans and nonbinary authors, should get at lot more recognition and promotion than they do, so I’m hoping that my reviews will help others find the books that represent them so that we can show publishing how important these books and their authors really are.
Aside from reading, I enjoy watching Netflix, obsessing over sharks, and dabbling in photography. I’m also a Youth Worker who likes to learn useless skills such as solving a Rubik’s cube and saying the alphabet backwards.
